A small number of Sixth Form places are available at Winchester each year for independent, academically ambitious pupils who want to seize the very best opportunities.

Outstanding teaching by subject specialists stretches pupils beyond A levels, offering the perfect preparation for university. Independent study is encouraged via the Extended Project Qualification, and independent thought is nurtured through our unique Div offering. This inspirational teaching, and learning alongside like minded, motivated peers, produces excellent exam results and leads on to the top universities in the UK and USA.

Pupils thrive living amongst friends, and enjoy the varied sport, musicdrama and arts activities that are central to Winchester life. Pupils develop a sense of responsibility to wider society, taking on leadership roles, sharing their interests with others in our wide range of clubs and societies, or serving others through our extensive community outreach.

We are interested in receiving applications from bright pupils, irrespective of background. We have a substantial bursaries programme, which can cover 100% of school fees and additional costs for eligible students.
